After a horrendous start to life under Jason Ryles, Parramatta have started to turn things around and have looked a much-improved team in recent months.
However, they have struggled to convert these showings into competition points as they have only won two of their past five matches.
The Eels will look to grab a result at home when they tackle the reigning premiers, Penrith. The last time these two sides met was just last month when the Panthers scraped to a 18-10 result.

Eels latest team news:
Zac Lomax is the sole Origin representative from Jason Ryles’ side and will be named to back up.
Dean Hawkins is set to continue at halfback, with Mitch Moses scheduled to return from a calf injury he picked up in NSW camp ahead of Game II in the coming weeks.
In better news for Parra, Tallyn Da Silva is set to be brought straight into the team following his switch from the Tigers. He will take the No.9 jersey off Joey Lussick.
Kelma Tuilagi copped a lengthy suspension for a crusher tackle in Round 17, so will need to be replaced in the backrow. Matt Doorey could get the nod.
Sam Tuivaiti is set to return to the fold after being sidelined for the past two months and could earn a spot on the bench.
Bailey Simonsson is nearing a return to action, while Luca Moretti is also closing in on a return.
Ryley Smith will be back on deck next week after serving his suspension. Suspended pair Will Penisini and Tuilagi still have a few weeks to serve on their bans.
